You're welcome to read, share and link to this site. What's here is general information, not advice or a quote — prices are typical ranges and the ROI calculator gives an estimate, not a promise. The words, designs and logo are mine. Florida law applies.

These terms cover your use of goedelworks.com (the “site”), run by Göedelworks (Ethan Goedelman) (“I”, “me”). Working together is covered separately by the service terms and, above all, by the signed proposal or agreement for your project. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don’t, please don’t use it.

Using the site

You may browse the site, share links to it, and print or save pages for your own reference. Please don’t:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to send spam or malicious code;
  • try to break, overload or get around its security (if you find a security problem, please report it through security.txt instead — good-faith reports are welcome);
  • scrape or copy it in bulk, or present its content as your own;
  • pretend to be me or to speak for Göedelworks.

Information, not advice

The site is general information about my services, provided as-is. It isn’t professional advice for your situation, and I don’t promise it is complete or current at every moment. Prices on the site are typical ranges and starting points, not quotes: every engagement is priced in a written proposal before work starts, and if the proposal differs from the site, the proposal governs.

The ROI calculator is an estimate

The ROI calculator and any example figures on the site are estimates built from the numbers you enter and from stated assumptions. They are not a promise, a guarantee or financial advice, and your results will vary. Use them as a starting point for a conversation, not as the basis for a financial decision.

Who owns the content

The words, page designs, illustrations, the Göedelworks name and the G logo on this site belong to me, except where a third party’s work is credited (fonts and open-source components are used under their own licences). You may quote short passages with a link back. Anything else needs my written permission.

The site links to other sites (LinkedIn, Google, and the like). I don’t control them and am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; a link is not an endorsement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or its information — including indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits or business interruption — and my total liability for anything arising from the site itself is limited to US $100. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute about the site is heard in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you and I both agree to that venue.

Changes and contact

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Questions go to ethan@goedelworks.com. How I handle information is covered in the privacy notice.
