Hi, I'm Ethan.

By day I'm a software engineer at a major defense and aerospace company in Orlando, on large distributed systems that move a lot of data and aren't allowed to break. Reliability and security aren't features there; they're the job.

I'm finishing an accelerated BS/MS in Computer Science at UCF, focused on AI and machine learning. Before software, I ran a restaurant floor as a shift lead, so I know a system has to work at 7 p.m. on a Friday.

I freelance because I like small businesses: sitting with an owner, learning how the shop runs, and finding the two or three places software genuinely helps. I'd rather be the person you call than a team you never meet.

    Co-led a closing-routine overhaul that cut the nightly close by up to an hour, and trained the staff who ran it.
